Track lighting is a very versatile way of adding light both in very specific places and to illuminate whole rooms.  It is easy to add later to a room such as if there was only a ceiling light previously or simply add more heads to an existing track.  With the new LED bulbs that use 1/10 the amount of power as old Halogen bulbs, there is no longer a concern with overloading circuits, a big advantage.  The difficult part is finding track lighting that you like and fits your decor. As with almost all lights these days, 99.999 percent is mass produced in China and sold in bulk through national retailers and online stores.  That's great if you want a very contemporary style, or a very simple white, black or silver model. But what if you are the .001% that are looking for something special such as a track light that fits into your log cabin, beach home or southwestern guest house?  Then it gets trickier as there are less then a handful of companies that can help you. Unfortunately that also means a light that is much more expensive and with far fewer choices.  The reason is now these are made in USA and sold in extremely low quantities, basically hand made to order.  Of course that situation is true for most anything you buy, but all is not lost.  If you have found us, then you know that custom lighting does not have to be crazy expensive or limited in options. Our rustic, western, southwestern and coastal track lights are hand made in New Mexico and offer many times more varieties than you will find anywhere else, at prices often less than mass produced imports.
