What is a Southwestern Style Light

What is a Southwestern Style Light

10th Dec 2022

Southwestern style lighting covers a broad range of styles from Native American to Spanish and usually is a mix of both.  It tends to be hand made or at least look hand made, use a variety of specialized design patterns such as Native American diamonds or animals, and be painted in a fun range of colorful finishes such as turquoises or coppers.  It is typically used with Southwestern decor homes, both inside or out but most often outside and is especially well suited for traditional style adobe homes in earth tone colors. But with the ever changing styles of homes, southwestern lights have grown with that to offer anything from very contemporary to almost a western flair.  No longer just made in ceramic or punched tin/copper, these south west style lights now come in almost any style you can imagine with precision cut laser images, fun shapes and sizes. There really is no limit to the possibilities and where they can be used.

Here are a few example that show the range of possibilities in southwestern lighting.
